The basic rules

1. Adults-only community

Twunked is only for people who are at least 18 years old.

Members may not:

• Create or maintain an account while under 18.
• Create an account for a person under 18.
• Encourage an underage person to join the service.
• Misrepresent their age to access the service.
• Publish photographs or personal information belonging to an underage person.

Accounts reasonably believed to belong to someone under 18 may be suspended immediately while the matter is reviewed.

Sexual discussion, imagery, solicitation, grooming, or exploitation involving anyone under 18 is strictly prohibited and may be reported to appropriate authorities.

2. Profile rules

Profiles should represent a genuine adult member or an authorized organization account approved by Twunked.

Profiles may include

• A genuine username or nickname.
• A truthful biography.
• General location information.
• Relationship information the member chooses to share.
• Photographs the member owns or has permission to use.

Profiles may not include

• False claims intended to deceive other members.
• Another person’s identity without authorization.
• Stolen or misleading profile photographs.
• Contact information belonging to someone else.
• Threats, hateful language, or targeted harassment.
• Spam links, referral schemes, or unauthorized advertising.
• Usernames that falsely suggest an official Twunked staff role.
• Content intended to facilitate fraud, illegal activity, or exploitation.

Staff may require a profile name, photograph, or description to be changed when it violates these rules or creates a meaningful risk of confusion.

3. Photograph and image rules

Members may upload appropriate photographs of themselves, their interests, and other content they have the right to share.

Generally permitted

• Ordinary selfies and portraits.
• Fitness, beach, swimming, and sports photographs.
• Non-explicit underwear or swimwear photographs.
• Travel, pets, hobbies, artwork, and lifestyle photographs.
• Group photographs when everyone shown consented to publication.
• Edited or artistic photographs that do not mislead members about identity.

Not permitted

• Visible genitals or explicit nudity.
• Pornographic or sexually explicit imagery.
• Images focused on explicit sexual activity.
• Non-consensual intimate imagery.
• Secretly recorded or voyeuristic imagery.
• Photographs of an underage person.
• Stolen photographs or copyrighted images uploaded without authorization.
• Graphic injury, gore, or cruelty intended to shock or threaten.
• Images containing private information such as passwords, financial details, identification numbers, or another person’s address.
• Images promoting terrorism, violent extremism, or organized hate.

Cropping, blurring, stickers, or other editing does not make prohibited explicit content acceptable when the primary purpose remains sexual or pornographic.

Staff may remove an image that technically avoids nudity but is presented in an overwhelmingly explicit, exploitative, or unsafe context.

4. Sexual content and solicitation

Twunked does not permit pornography, explicit nudity, or content primarily intended to depict sexual activity.

Members may not use the service to:

• Upload or distribute explicit sexual images or videos.
• Share another person’s intimate content without clear consent.
• Offer, request, buy, sell, or trade explicit content through public site features.
• Advertise prostitution, trafficking, coercive sexual services, or sexual exploitation.
• Pressure another member to provide sexual images or personal information.
• Threaten to publish intimate content.
• Sexualize, discuss sexually, or solicit anyone believed to be under 18.

Consensual adult conversation must still comply with the feature’s purpose, the recipient’s boundaries, and all other community rules.

Continuing sexual communication after another member says no, asks you to stop, blocks you, or otherwise withdraws consent is harassment.

5. Harassment, bullying, and unwanted contact

Members may disagree, criticize ideas, or end a conversation. They may not target another person with abusive or intimidating behavior.

Prohibited conduct includes:

• Repeated unwanted messages or comments.
• Insults intended to humiliate or intimidate a specific member.
• Coordinating others to attack or overwhelm a member.
• Following a member across profiles or accounts after being blocked.
• Creating another account to bypass a block.
• Sexual harassment or unwanted sexual remarks.
• Threatening to expose private information or intimate material.
• Mocking a person’s disability, appearance, health, identity, or personal circumstances in a targeted abusive manner.
• Encouraging self-harm or telling a person to harm themselves.
• Filing knowingly false reports to punish or silence another member.

Members should use the block feature when they no longer want contact. Attempting to evade that block may result in account suspension.

6. Hateful conduct

Content that attacks, dehumanizes, threatens, or promotes exclusion or violence against people based on protected or vulnerable characteristics is not allowed.

Protected or vulnerable characteristics may include:

• Race or ethnicity.
• National origin.
• Religion.
• Sex or gender.
• Sexual orientation.
• Gender identity or expression.
• Disability or serious medical condition.
• Age.
• Immigration or caste status.

Slurs used to insult, threaten, intimidate, or dehumanize are prohibited.

Educational, documentary, counterspeech, or self-referential discussion may be reviewed in context, but context does not excuse harassment or promotion of hate.

7. Threats, violence, and dangerous conduct

Members may not threaten, encourage, celebrate, or coordinate violence against another person.

Prohibited content includes:

• Credible threats of physical harm.
• Threats against a person’s home, family, workplace, or property.
• Instructions intended to facilitate violent harm.
• Celebration of a specific person’s injury or death.
• Promotion or recruitment for violent extremist organizations.
• Graphic content shared primarily to terrorize, threaten, or glorify cruelty.
• Encouraging suicide or self-injury.

Content suggesting an immediate danger may be preserved and disclosed to appropriate emergency or law-enforcement authorities where reasonably necessary.

8. Privacy and personal information

Respect the privacy and boundaries of other members.

Members may not publish or threaten to publish another person’s:

• Home address or precise real-time location.
• Private telephone number or email address.
• Passwords or account-access information.
• Financial or payment information.
• Government identification numbers.
• Private medical records.
• Workplace information when shared to facilitate harassment.
• Intimate images or private correspondence without permission.

Publicly available information may still violate this rule when republished to threaten, stalk, intimidate, or encourage harassment.

Do not pressure members to reveal their legal name, location, workplace, finances, health information, or other private details.

9. Spam, scams, and commercial activity

Members may not use Twunked for unwanted advertising, deceptive promotions, fraud, or mass solicitation.

Prohibited behavior includes:

• Sending repetitive messages to many members.
• Posting the same link or promotion repeatedly.
• Promoting fake giveaways, prizes, investments, or employment opportunities.
• Requesting money through deceptive stories or impersonation.
• Romance scams or confidence schemes.
• Phishing for passwords, verification codes, or financial information.
• Promoting pyramid schemes or misleading referral programs.
• Selling accounts, followers, engagement, or access to the service.
• Unauthorized scraping or collection of member information.
• Using automated accounts or scripts to create artificial activity.

Limited promotion of personal creative work may be permitted when it is relevant, honest, non-repetitive, and not sent through unwanted mass contact.

10. Impersonation and deceptive identity

Members may use nicknames, stage names, or anonymous usernames, but they may not pretend to be another person in order to deceive or cause harm.

Not permitted:

• Copying another member’s profile and photographs.
• Pretending to be a celebrity, business, or public figure without clear authorization or parody context.
• Pretending to be a moderator, administrator, or support representative.
• Using stolen photographs to build a false identity.
• Misrepresenting another person’s words or actions through a deceptive account.
• Creating fake accounts to manipulate reports, follows, likes, or conversations.

Clearly labeled parody, fan, or commentary accounts may be permitted when they do not mislead members or violate another person’s rights.

11. Illegal and regulated activity

Members may not use the service to facilitate illegal, exploitative, or dangerous transactions.

This includes:

• Human trafficking or sexual exploitation.
• Sale or distribution of illegal drugs.
• Sale of stolen goods or unlawfully obtained information.
• Fraud, identity theft, or money laundering.
• Distribution of malware or stolen credentials.
• Extortion, blackmail, or threats for payment.
• Illegal weapons transactions.
• Instructions created specifically to facilitate a serious crime.
• Any sexual exploitation or abuse involving an underage person.

Content may be removed even when the legality of a transaction varies by location if the activity creates a substantial safety, fraud, or exploitation risk.

12. Copyright and ownership

Only upload photographs, artwork, writing, and other content that you created or have permission to use.

Members may not:

• Copy another member’s photographs without permission.
• Reupload paid or copyrighted content without authorization.
• Remove ownership marks to disguise copied content.
• Claim ownership of someone else’s work.
• Repeatedly infringe intellectual property rights.

Include enough information to identify the original work, locate the reported material, and verify the complaint.

13. Abuse of the service

Members may not interfere with the security, availability, or intended operation of Twunked.

Prohibited technical abuse includes:

• Attempting to access another member’s account.
• Sharing or requesting stolen login credentials.
• Bypassing login, privacy, blocking, or moderation controls.
• Exploiting security vulnerabilities.
• Uploading malicious files or code.
• Overloading the service through automated requests.
• Scraping profiles, photographs, posts, or member information without authorization.
• Manipulating likes, follows, comments, reports, or other engagement.
• Creating large numbers of accounts to evade restrictions.
• Testing security vulnerabilities without written authorization.

Suspected security vulnerabilities should be reported privately rather than publicly disclosed or exploited.

14. Reporting violations

Use the Report option when a profile, post, or comment appears to violate these Guidelines.

A useful report should:

• Select the reason that best describes the issue.
• Provide concise and truthful details.
• Identify the specific content or behavior.
• Avoid including unrelated private information.
• Explain an immediate safety concern when one exists.

Reports are confidential moderation submissions. Staff generally will not disclose the reporter’s identity to the reported member unless required by law or necessary to address a serious safety matter.

Do not submit reports because you merely disagree with another member or dislike lawful, non-abusive content.

Repeatedly submitting false, retaliatory, or manipulative reports may result in account action.

15. Moderation and enforcement

Staff review reported content and may also act on violations discovered through ordinary operation of the service.

Moderation decisions consider factors such as:

• Severity of the conduct.
• Whether the conduct was intentional.
• Risk of harm to another person.
• Previous warnings or violations.
• Whether a block or restriction was evaded.
• Whether the member cooperated with a safety review.
• Relevant context and available evidence.

Possible enforcement actions

• No action when no violation is found.
• A warning or educational notice.
• Removal or hiding of content.
• Removal of an avatar, cover, post, photograph, or comment.
• Requirement to edit a profile.
• Temporary restriction of certain features.
• Temporary account suspension.
• Permanent account ban.
• Removal of related or ban-evasion accounts.
• Preservation or disclosure of information when legally required or necessary to address serious harm.

Severe violations may result in immediate suspension or permanent removal without a prior warning.

Deleting content after it is reported does not necessarily prevent staff from reviewing retained moderation or security records.

16. Questions and appeals

A member who believes an account or content decision was made in error may contact support.

An appeal should include:

• The account username.
• The email connected to the account.
• The moderation decision being appealed.
• A clear explanation of why the decision should be reconsidered.
• Relevant context not included in the original review.

Appeals may be rejected when they contain threats, spam, false information, or attempts to evade identity verification.

Guideline updates

These Guidelines may be updated as the community, features, safety risks, or legal requirements change.

The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material revisions are published.

These Guidelines supplement the Twunked Terms of Service. When a rule in these Guidelines conflicts with applicable law, the applicable legal requirement controls.
